Applying to Annunciation

New Student Admission

Annunciation accepts new students to grades K-8 for the upcoming school year during priority and open enrollment periods. Priority Kindergarten enrollment begins in the fall while priority enrollment for grades 1-8 begins at the end of January, followed by open enrollment to the public.
In addition to a completed student application, the application fee of $200 and the students birth certificate must be submitted.  Students entering Annunciation in grades 1 - 8 must submit student transcripts for evaulation. Kindergarten students will be required to take the Gesell Readiness Test which is offered at Annunciation to applicants during the spring.

Returning Students

Current students who will be returning next year must complete and return the
 2017-2018 Returning Student Enrollment Application to the school office 
prior to the start of open enrollment to maintain a spot in their class. The $100 application fee is billed to Smart Tuition. 

Transfer Students Admission

Annunciation offers mid-year admission to transfer students who meet the necessary requirements. A completed student admission application with the $200 application fee and birth certificate must be received for consideration. Teacher recommendations and academic records must be submitted and placement testing may be required. Up to date immunization records must be received before student may start class. Students applying to Annunciation are encouraged to shadow for a day in their prospective class.

Kindergarten Enrollment for the 2017-2018 School Year

Priority Kindergarten enrollment begins Monday, November 14, 2016.  (See Priority enrollment eligibility below).

Priority enrollment for returning students and sibling’s entering grades 1 - 8 begins January 9, 2017.

Open Enrollment for grades K – 8 begins January 30 2017.

  3. Active registered families of St. Gabriel’s, Our Lady of Joy and St. Rose parishes.

 Open Enrollment

  1. Active registered Catholic families with parishes within the diocese.

  2. Non-Catholic families.

* Admission to a Catholic school is contingent upon having met all financial obligations at your previous school. 

Important: Acceptance of enrollment applications for returning students is contingent upon current year tuition balance being paid to date. 

Active Catholic Tuition Rate
All families who are registered, active parishioners of the Catholic Church are eligible for the Active Catholic Tuition rate.  Active parishioner status is determined by the pastor of each parish and usually includes, but is not limited to, weekly attendance at Mass, tithing, and participation/volunteerism in parish events.  Please contact your parish office with any questions.  If you are member of a Catholic parish other than St. Gabriel’s, be sure to have your church complete the Verification of Active Parishioner Form.  Only one form per family required. 
(Note: St. Gabriel's parishioners are not required to complete the Active Parishioner form.  Your status will be verified directly with the church office by the Annunciation School office.) Please be sure to indicate your parish status on your student(s) application each year.
