What's New this Week

Here are your Friday updates for today, Friday, August 16, 2019...
IMPORTANT - End of Day Dismissal: All cars must exit the campus onto Rancho Paloma.  No one is to drive against the traffic flow to exit on to Cave Creek Rd. 
New families please display your name placard for drive up and walk up. It helps us to learn who you are and to dismiss your students more quickly.  
Parents please do not exit the car when on the pickup line. Pull forward into the pick up zone. Students may enter the cars only inside the pick up zone on the curb (look for color cones on sidewalk).  

August 18 (Sunday):  All School Family Mass at St. Gabriel's 8:30 a.m.  Students wear school uniform receives a free dress on Monday (It's on the honor system).

August 21 (Wednesday)
: Middle School Curriculum Night at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School hall. Please have at least one parent in attendance. No children please.

August 23 (Friday):  ACS Business Breakfast. Supporting each other with business referrals.  Share your business and network with other ACS Family businesses while enjoying a complimentary breakfast.  8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. Heart and Soul Cafe  32648 N Cave Creek Road Cave Creek, AZ  85331.  RSVP to the school office by August 21, 2019.
August 30 (Friday): Noon Dismissal.  Aftercare is available, please email office@acsphx.org if your student will be attending. Half day extended care is offered from 12 - 5:30 p.m. The fee is $25 per student ($15 for each additional sibling). All students need to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle.

Useful Information:
  • Education Outfitters PE shirts are on backorder.  Spirit or Fun Run t-shirts are allowed only until the PE shirts are available.  
  • All Students:  Need a notarized Transportation of Minor form.  Please complete and turn into the school office as soon as possible.  
  • New Students:  Please send in copies of your students birth certificate, immunization records, transportation of minor (notarized), former school records and private school affidavit(notarized).  If you are unsure of what you have sent in or what your student is missing, please contact the office. 
  • Need Extended Care for your students? Extended Care Info Sheet attached.  Please complete the registration form attached and return to the school office. 
  • Safe Environment Training (SET):  Please complete your account, sign up for a foundation class or complete your online renewal.  Each volunteer is required to have the SET training.  See attached directions.
  • The annual Rosary Sunday poster contest is coming up. All entries must be submitted to Mrs. Himmelein by Friday, September 20. School Store News

  • Regular school store hours are Monday & Friday from 7:20 -8:15 a.m. 3 - 3:30 p.m., Tues., Wed., Thurs., 7:20 -7:50 a.m. and 3- 3:30 p.m. Come get snacks, refreshments, school stickers, uniforms and more!

Student Council speeches and elections(6th - 8th only)

Student Council speeches and elections will be on Friday, August.30 at 10:45 a.m.  Parents are welcome to attend.  Only students in 6th - 8th grade are eligible to run.   All students in grades 4 - 8 will attend and vote.  A candidate must be present on the 30th to run.  There will be no exceptions.  
Correction:  ACS Annual Fun Run is February 28, 2020  The Power Point Presentation from the Parent Meeting on August 14 incorrectly stated the Fun Run date as March 1.  The correct date is February 28, 2020.
