Catholic Schools Week

Annunciation celebrates Catholic Schools Week 2017

National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States and will be held during the week of January 29 through February 4, 2017. Annunciation will observe the annual celebration by kicking off the week with a Student Council lead Pep Rally Friday, January 27 at 2:15 p.m.
On Sunday, January 29 we will celebrate with an all school Mass at 10:30 a.m. and everyone is invited to join us at the open house with activities for students, families, parishioners, and community members and our first community service project, a blood drive with the United Blood Service from 8:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Throughout the week we will celebrate with community projects that include serving dinner at the St. Vincent De Paul, collecting items for care kits for Phoenix Children’s Hospital families, writing letters of gratitude to active military for their service, and decorating place mats for Meals on Wheels. See full calendar of events below.

At Annunciation we focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation through these events. For more information visit www.ncea.org.
