Operational Fundraising

Fundraising is, first and foremost, a form of ministry.  It is a way of announcing our vision and inviting other people into our mission. Vision and mission are so central to the life of God’s people that without vision we perish and without mission we lose our way (Prov. 29:18; 2 Kings 21:1-9) Fundraising is proclaiming what we believe in such a way that we offer other people an opportunity to participate with us in our vision and mission. ~ Fr. Henri Nouwen

Operational Fundraising is necessary for ACS because the cost of educating a student is greater than the amount of tuition. In order to provide all the resources for our students ACS families and supporters raise the funds to cover approximately 10% of the annual budget.

Each year the Fundraising Committee organizes two fundraising events; Casino Night in the fall and Walk-a-Thon in the winter.  We also solicit our families and supporters with an Annual Appeal every spring.  Each family is asked to raise a minimum of $600 per year by financially supporting Casino Night, Walk-a-Thon or the Annual Appeal. Families also have the option to pay the fundraising expectation in lieu of participation in these three fundraising events. Operational Fundraising does not include amounts raised for the Capital Campaign/Building Fund.

Annual Appeal May, 2016
Each year we ask our families and supporters to consider making a generous gift to help with the operational costs of Annunciation Catholic School. These gifts help keep tuition affordable for parents.  View our 2015/16 Annual Appeal Letter. If you would like to donate to our annual appeal, please click the donate button below.  Thank you!
